Actor, director, producer Arbaaz Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his next film titled ‘Dabangg 3’, has said that, he didn’t favour the song ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’, till he was satisfied. Arbaaz believes that they are capable to craft fresh song as they are not bankrupt to work on the same resolution.
Arbaaz Khan was addressing media on Saturday in Mumbai. The new song ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’ from ‘Dabangg 3’ is already a hit among the audience. The song is a spin-off of the 2010 track ‘Munni Badnam Hui from’ Dabangg’, which featured Malaika Arora.
When asked about the ground work which went into making of this song, Arbaaz said, “It was Salman, who suggested working on ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’. First I was too indefinite about the song as, I never wanted people to judge us wrong or think that the recreation is due to absence of any alternate. We are capable to craft smash hit chartbusters and are not bankrupt to work on the same resolution.”
Arbaaz also informed media that first he approached Lalit Pandit as the original song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ from Dabangg was composed by Lalit Pandit but finally they confirmed Sajid-Wajid. “We approached the music composers, Lalit Pandit and Sajid-Wajid to compose the song in a new version. Both came up with good results, but we collaborated with Sajid-Wajid as his music clicked us more and finally, I gave an approval for the shooting of the song.”
Dabangg 3 is an upcoming action comedy film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan under their respective banners of Salman Khan Films and Arbaaz Khan Production. The film is a sequel to the 2012 film ‘Dabangg 2’, starring Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
