The official trailer of Sab Kushal Mangal, starring Akshaye Khanna along with debutante Riva Kishan and Priyaank Sharma is out. This one is set in rural India and has some interesting undertones.
After films such as "Section 375", "The Accidental Prime Minister" and "Mom", Akshaye Khanna is making a return to the comedy genre with upcoming movie "Sab Kushal Mangal, he will be seen portraying the role of Baba Bhandari in the film.
Debutante Riva Kishan is the daughter of Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan, and Priyaank Sharma, the son of actor Padmini Kolhapure.
The film is set in a small town in Jharkhand, with Riva as young woman, who is wild and her parents are searching for a suitable groom. Actor Priyaank, on the other hand, plays an enthusiastic TV presenter for a news channel. The two meet and fall in love, but their bubble is soon burst by Akshaye Khanna's character.
Akshaye Khanna deals in forced marriages and Priyaank reporting has caused him enough suffering, so he sets his eyes on Riva's character, and then relentlessly pursues her.
The film also stars Satish Kaushik, Supriya Pathak, Yuvika Chaudhary, Mrunal Jain, and Apurva Nemlekar in supporting roles.
Karan Vishwanath Kashyap, who also directed the feature, have written the story with veteran actor Brijendra Kala and. The film marks Karan's directorial debut.
The film releases on 3rd January 2020.
