Rajesh Krishnan directorial Lootcase, a comedy drama starring Kunal Khemu, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Raaz and Ranvir Shorey in the lead roles, has been postponed. The film was slated for 2019 releases but now it will hit the marquee in 2020.
The comic caper revolving around a red coloured suitcase filled with cash, was earlier slated for 16th September 2019 release but the now the makers have confirmed that the film will releases on 10 April 2020.
The official handle of Fox Star Hindi confirmed the new release date. It said, “We've got some exciting news for you guys! #Lootcase gets a new release date! Witness the chase for the suitcase on 10th April, 2020 in theaters near you! @kunalkemmu @raogajraj @RasikaDugal @RanvirShorey @rajoosworld #VijayRaaz @saregamaglobal #SodaFilmsIndia”
Confirming the same, actor Kunal Khemu also tweeted, “Khabar toh pakki hai, milte hai hum #Lootcase dekhne 10th April 2020 in theaters near you!”
The film follows Nandan Kumar (Kemmu) an average Joe, whose life changes after he comes across a suitcase full of cash. While he believes the money will solve all his problems, there are people on the lookout for the suitcase, like a gangster named Bala Rathore (Vijay Raaz), Member of Legislative Assembly Patil (Gajraj Rao), and Inspector Kotle (Ranvir Shorey).
The film releases on 10th April 2020.
