Bhubaneswar, Nov 22 (SocialNews.XYZ) A minor girl was allegedly raped in Salepur area of Odisha's Cuttack district, police said on Friday.
The six-year-old girl was allegedly raped under the Nemala Police Station limits on Thursday night while she had gone to watch Jatra (open-air theatre) near her village.
The girl's family members found the minor in an unconscious state under a tree on Friday morning and rushed her to Nischintakoili Community Health Centre (CHC).
The villagers alleged that one of the members of the Jatra troupe was involved in the rape.
Having launched a probe into the incident, police have detained some members of the Jatra group for questioning.
