Producer Ekta Kapoor says that with web-series the only yard stick to measure success is appreciation from audience.
Ekta Kapoor along with Vikrant Massey, Harleen Sethi and more hosted a press-conference for the trailer launch of Broken But Beautiful Season 2 in Mumbai.
Talking about the second season of super hit web-series and the pressure it brings, producer Ekta Kapoor said, “With web-series there is no TRP, no box-office collection, but know this, if the show doesn’t get apperication, than on one is going to make the second season, and that is the only yard stick, which defines if something is successful or not”
“Our audience group is mostly urban, we have urban-mass base, but with Broken but beautiful, there is a huge new group boys and girls, who looked at me differently” added Ekta Kapoor.
Talking about the show and its conception, Ekta Kapoor said, “Broken But Beautiful is close to my heart, it even close to Sarita’s heart as well, it’s her first production. This is one show that I decided to make it for myself”
Broken But Beautiful 2 is a web series, created by Ekta Kapoor for her video on demand platform, ALTBalaji. The series stars Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi as the protagonists. The series revolves around love, heartbreaks and never ending romance between two individuals.
The series is available for streaming on the ZEE5 & ALT Balaji App and associated websites since its release.
