Actor Sidharth Malhotra says every Friday comes with new energy and one shouldn’t think about past releases on the sidelines of his recent media interaction.
Sidharth Malhotra was interacting with the media to promote ‘Marjaavaan’ along with his co-actor Riteish Deshmukh and film’s director Milap Zaveri on Wednesday in Mumbai.
Sidharth's last few films like ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘A Gentleman’, ‘Aiyaary’ and ‘Jabariya Jodi’ haven’t worked at the box-office. When asked Sidharth what makes him confident with the release of ‘Marjaavaan’, he said, “I think you have to move forward with your every release and you shouldn’t think much about your past release whether it’s a success or a failure. I think every Friday comes with new energy, different script and different story. I have learnt this lesson over the years. I think there is lesser fear of the unknown and I have seen both extremes so, I am better prepared and more focused and energized for my next release where I am breaking people’s bones and heart’s in a Milap Zaveri film.”
Talking about audience response to trailer and songs of ‘Marjaavaan’, Sidharth said, “I am feeling very excited with the kind of response trailer and songs of our film is getting from the audience. Our film’s core is a love story so, when people are appreciating love songs of the film that means people are keen to accept that love story. I hope that large number of people will see our film when it will release on 15th November.”
‘Marjaavaan’ is directed by Milap Zaveri and starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
The film opened in cinema halls today, 15th November 2019.
