Chennai, Nov 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) A POCSO case accused at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala was arrested by the immigration officials at the Anna International airport here on Thursday, when he tried to flee to Dubai.
Airport sources said the passenger Mohd Yasir (27), who had come to the airport to board a Dubai-bound Emirates Airlines flight, was arrested when the immigration officials checked his passport and other travel documents.
They found that Yasir was a wanted accused in a POCSO case in Kerala and immediately cancelled his journey.
The officials detained him and informed the Thiruvananthapuram, police who were rushing to Chennai to formally arrest him.
