Chandigarh, Oct 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator V.P. Singh Badnore will open the 24th edition of Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) Chandigarh Fair 2019 here on October 18, it was announced on Monday.
The four-day fair will showcase a variety of products to choose from countries like Afghanistan and Thailand, besides finest products from the domestic sellers.
This year the fair's focus is 'Making Chandigarh Plastic-Free'.
It will also emphasise on making Chandigarh honk-free and encourage the visitors to contribute to the cause in their individual capacities.
The Chandigarh Traffic Police will showcase an art gallery with paintings themed on road safety and an awareness campaign.
In addition, the Registering and Licensing Authority is setting up a single window at the fair to enable the visitors to apply for a learner's license while shopping.
