Pure Nutrition plans offline expansion in Tier-I, II cities
New Delhi, Oct 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) Nutraceutical company Pure Nutrition has planned to expand its offline presence across tier-I and tier-II cities.

The company which started as an online-focussed startup, recently launched stores at the Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after initially launching its stores at the Mumbai airport.

Speaking about the company's expansion plans, Sushil Khaitan, CEO and Director, Pure Nutrition said: "In the next two years, we aim to make our offline presence much stronger by opening more stores in premium locations within tier-I and tier-II cities...specifically focusing on emerging markets such as Aurangabad, Bhopal, Indore, Nagpur and so on."

"In addition to our stores, we are also in the process of setting up counters in wellness chains and following a shop-in-shop model with retail entities," he added.

On the outlook for the nutraceutical sector in the country, Khaitan said the market is expected to grow in coming years.

"In the past few decades, sedentary lifestyles have become prevalent in India which have led to chronic illnesses like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and hypertension. This creates a strong need to focus on the concept of preventive health through the onset of nutraceuticals," he added.
