With the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation’s (TSRTC) strike entering the fourth day on Tuesday, striking unions were on the warpath with the State government as they declared they would now seek a removal of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao from power.
Speaking to The Hindu, TSRTC Joint Action Committee leader said that the body would meet with leaders from Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress, Telangana Jana Samithi and other unions at the Press Club in Somajiguda. The parties, they said, would extend their support to the striking unions.
"What the CM is doing is dictatorship. This is wrong. We worked for Telangana, this is not it. He wants to take our jobs, but now we will work to take away his job," TSRTC JAC leader Thomas Reddy said.
