The makers of Sye Raa had approached the government of Andhra Pradesh to permit two extra shows per day for the film in its opening weekend.
The YCP government kept the distributors and exhibitors waiting for a long time.
The latest we hear is that the state government has permitted special screenings of the film. Exhibitors can now hold six screenings per day in Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana government approved five shows per day.
