Shimla, Sep 21 (IANS) Bypolls to two Assembly constituencies in BJP-ruled Himachal Pradesh will be held on October 21, the Election Commission announced on Saturday.
The by-elections were necessitated to Dharamsala and Pachaad seat that fell vacant after Kishan Kapoor and Suresh Kashyap were elected to the Lok Sabha, respectively.
The counting of the ballots will be held on October 24.
The BJP has a majority with 44 seats in the 68-member state assembly.
