Superstar, Mahesh Babu bagged Dada Saheb Phalke - Best actor in male lead role award- for his previous film, Bharath Ane Nenu.

A few netizens opine that it is surprising to see Mahesh bagging this award for Bharath Ane Nenu.
Mahesh's wife Namratha took the award on his behalf. Kannada superstar Yash graced the event as well.
