New Delhi, Sep 5 (IANS) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday described the Narendra Modi government's silence on economic slowdown as "very dangerous" and said excuses and rhethoric will not work as it does not have any solution.
"Countdown: Everyday news of recession and every day BJP government's silence on it: Both are very dangerous. This government does not have any solution nor has the power to assure the citizens of the country. Merely giving excuses, rhetoric and rumours will not work," Priyanka Gandhi said in a tweet.
This is not the first time the Congress leader, who is also the in-charge for the eastern Uttar Pradesh has attacked the government.
Earlier, Priyanka attacked the government over the issues of atrocities against women, rising prices and several others.
