Tamil star hero Suriya has teamed up with director KV Anand for his 37th film “Kaappaan” and it’s an action thriller that’s slated for release on 20th September 2019. Today the makers of the movie have unveiled the Kaappaan trailer and on a frank note, Kaappaaan teaser was more interesting than the trailer.
The Kaappaan trailer starts with the multiple getups that hero Suriya is sporting in the film because of his job profile of an NSG commando who guards the Prime Minister of India. In the next frame, Suriya and Sayyeshaa song in the foreign location is shown then suddenly Mohan Lal character is introduced as PM of India with dialogues and ending with a poor VFX train blast. Later two songs visuals are joined together for one song with lead pairs showing their dancing skills followed by projecting love angle in the film.
Now here is the icing on the cake to make things worse with few glimpses of the action hit song “Siriki” from the movie pops up in Kaappaan trailer. This will definitely create doubt in everyone’s mind that are we watching the trailer of the film or promo video songs of Kaappaan? Did the director have seen the trailer before uploading it on YouTube or not?
The trailer of Kaappaan ends with the focus on the tunnel that’s highlighted in the film title design. Overall the Kaappaan trailer doesn’t have any positive things that will make audiences to watch it on the release date and its looking half-baked action thriller.
