Los Angeles, Aug 31 (IANS) Actors Dennis Quaid and Madalen Mills will be joining rapper and actress Queen Latifah in the independent drama "Tiger Rising".
The film will be helmed by Ray Giarratana.
Giarratana has adapted the script from Kate DiCamillo's 2001 children's book of the same name, reports variety.com.
"Tiger Rising" is about a reserved 12-year-old boy who has lost his mother and meets a full-grown Bengal tiger hidden in the Florida woods, held captive by the mean-spirited motel owner, played by Quaid.
Latifah will be seen in the role of a mysterious maid. Mills will portray the character of a stubborn new girl in school.
