Srinagar, July 16 (IANS) An Army soldier on Tuesday slipped to his death near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Defence sources said Naik Ramandeep Singh slipped into a gorge during patrolling in Pharkiyan Gali area of the LoC around 5 p.m. today.
"The injured soldier was shifted to a nearby medical facility where doctors said he was dead on arrival", a defence source said.
