According to the latest report, Venky Mama has wrapped up its shoot and is all set to release during the Sankranthi season. The film is expected to hit the big screens on October 4th.
If that is the case, Venky Mama will be locking horns with Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The latter is yet to lock it's release date but will certainly releasing in Sankranthi season.
The makers of Sye Raa are hoping to cash in on the holiday season and wrapping up the post-production works accordingly.
