It also told the government to stop the demolition of buildings until the counter is filed. Agreeing to it, the government counsel asked the court 15 days time. However, the court denied it and asked the government to file the counter today. A petition was filed in the High Court against the demolition of the secretariat in Telangana on June 24, 2019. The petitioner asked the court not to pass orders pertaining to the secretariat demolition.
