Taking pride in the BJP’s emergence as the world’s largest political party, far bigger than the Communist Party of China, Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy has exuded confidence that it would expand its reach to States where it was till recently considered a non-entity.
In the South, the BJP would come to power in Telangana in 2023 and emerge as a strong alternative to the YSRCP in A.P., he has asserted, and sought to infuse courage in the cadres, saying that when the BJP formed governments in States where its vote share was barely one percent earlier, there is no reason why it should not claw back to a position of power in the Telugu States.
“There will be unexpected political developments in A.P. and Telangana in the coming one or two years,” he said while speaking at the party’s membership drive, ‘Sanghatan Parv - 2019’, here on Sunday.
