On Sunday TDP leaders from Anantapur district attended the coordination committee meeting at the party's district office. There they are said to have discussed the future course of action.
The meeting was attended by District President BK Parthasarathy, Former Ministers Paritala Sunitha- Kaluva Srinivasulu- Oravakonda MLA Payyavula Keshav- MLCs Thippeswamy and Samanthakamani, Mayor Swaroopa, Former MLAs Palle Raghunath Reddy, Jitendra Goud, Yamini Bala, Hanumanta Raya Chowdary and TDP MLA Candidate Paritala Sriram.
In the next 5 years leaders had expressed the view that the measures will be taken to strengthen the party for bouncing back in 2024.TDP leaders had decided to appoint a new and strong leader as in-charge for the party because in party discussions it was also discussed that Dharmavaram Ex-MLA Gonuguntla Suryanarayana was going to join the BJP post elections.
JC brothers along with their successors were missing in this coordination committee meeting. Ex-MP of Hindupur Nimmala Kistappa, Ex-MLA of Anantapur Vykuntam as well as Nandamuri Balakrishna also were missing.
Balayya actually happened to visit Vijaya Nirmala's House on Sunday along with the former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu to console Superstar Krishna. However, why the rest of the Leaders were absent isn't known. They might conclude anything on joining BJP anytime soon as others did earlier.
