New Delhi, June 25 (IANS) To promote the Kashmiri language among the youth, the Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch organised an event that addressed the challenge of preserving the culture and language of Kashmir.
Keeping up with the earlier tradition, Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch organised 'Gaashtarukh' on Sunday at Mavlankar Hall here.
'Gaashtarukh' is a talent hunt programme organised by JKVM for displaced Kashmiri Hindu community children who compete in singing, dancing and instrumental music. The idea is to help them carry forward their language and culture.
BJP Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari and Akhilesh Mishra, Director General (ICCR) were the chief guests at the event.
Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch is a socio-cultural organisation and has been actively involved in different cultural, religious, philanthropic and youth activities in Delhi and across India.
