Srinagar, June 20 (IANS) A few inmates of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara District Jail clashed with each other on Thursday resulting in chaos, but the situation was quickly brought under control, officials said.
"The scuffling inmates were segregated and lodged in separate barracks. The situation is completely under control and normal inside the jail," an official said.
Relatives of some inmates gathered outside the jail after hearing about the scuffie, but they were not allowed to go inside.
