Looks like Chandra Babu Naidu is confused regarding the reasons for his loss in 2019 elections. During a workshop on failure in elections and future strategies, TDP president and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu said that in the past, when TDP lost in elections, the party members were able to know the reasons for their loss. However, this time that had not happened. He said that this time the reasons are still unknown. He even told that in his 40 years political career, it was the last five years that were most crucial for him.

He had made many developments and done welfare for the state massively according to him in the last five years. Yet they lost in elections. While the percentage of voting was quite high, the party's strength in assembly is too low according to him. CBN said that there must be an analysis of election results after which they must move forward. He even said that one of the reasons being known was the manipulation of EVMs. He added that they will still continue their agitation against that. The second reason mentioned by him was that most of the public wanted to give Jagan Mohan Reddy a chance.
Of the reasons above, the second about giving chance to Jagan might have been true as people were not satisfied by CBN's work.

According to sources, the reasons for the defeat of CBN we very clear but CBN could not accept them as true. Sources say that main reasons for his defeat were, his inability to get AP special status as he had promised, taking a U-turn in his political career, joining hands with his rivalry, showing fake progress to public, making fake promises. With so many reasons analyzed by the general public, it is unbelievable that a person like CBN with a political experience of 40 years was unable to analyze it.
