Srinagar, April 13 (IANS) A gunfight broke out between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Saturday, police said.
Following specific information about militant presence the security forces started a cordon and search operation in Gahand village and as they tightened the cordon, the hiding militants fired triggering the encounter.
