Telegu Desam Party leader Chintha Bhaskar Reddy was hacked to death in Anantapur's Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh (AP) as clashes broke out between TDP and YSRCP workers in the state as it votes in the 1st phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Thursday.
Chintha Bhaskar Reddy was severely injured in clashes between the YSR Congress and TDP. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Tension prevailed across various constituencies in Andhra Pradesh as clashes broke out between the rival party workers in the state on the polling day. The activists of the parties attacked each other in Puthalapattu Constituency in Bandarlapalli, Andhra Pradesh. The police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.
