Chandrababu Naidu alleges conspiracy behind IT raid on ‘Sevamitra’
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday accused his rival parties of ‘conspiring’ against the firm that helped develop Sevamitra app for the TDP.
“It is a conspiracy. YS Jagan (YSRCP chief) and Vijayasai Reddy are the prime accused. K Chandrashekhar Rao is helping them. BJP is behind the conspiracy,” he said at a press conference organised here with regards to the allegations of data theft. We collect data like phone numbers, with their consent. We are asking people about their opinion to select candidates. What is wrong in it? We share information in the public domain only to bring transparency and accountability, he clarified. Naidu further accused the KCR-led Telangana government of making false allegations.
