Dehradun, Feb 27 (IANS) Four persons were killed and seven others injured after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a 150-feet deep khud at the Kherikhal area in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district on Wednesday.
According to police, the driver lost control of the Maxx SUV as the road had become slippery due to heavy rains.
While two persons died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries on way to hospital.
Others were rushed to nearby hospitals where the condition of three was stated to be serious.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat expressed grief over the accident and asked the district authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
