Six Indian artists to participate in ArtBAB 2019
New Delhi, Feb 15 (IANS) Six Indian artists will showcase their artwork at the 2019 edition of Art Bahrain Across Borders (ArtBAB), Bahrains foremost international art fair.

The theme of the fourth edition of the fair is "Legacies", which will explore the nearly 50-year-old Bahraini contemporary art scene and its foundation in the Kingdom's rich art heritage.

"Indian galleries and artists generally have prominent presence at the fair every year. This year also, I am delighted to announce that we have received confirmations from six Indian artists to take part. The art fair's 2019 edition would be an exciting amalgam of Bahraini art and cutting-edge trends from the art industry," said Kaneka Subberwal, Fairs and Programme Director at ArtBAB 2019.

Two artists from Mumbai's Cosmic Heart Gallery with a flair for contemporary, abstract art, Natasha Lalla and Shailan Parker, will display their work at ArtBAB 2019.

They will be joined by four emerging contemporary artists from Delhi's Seed Art Gallery - Pratik Sharma, C.H. Gandhi, Farhad Hussain and Rohit Sharma.

The fair enjoys the patronage of Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the King of Bahrain, and will be organised from March 6 to 10.
