Prasanna Kumar, who is co-distributing Rajinikanth's Petta in the Telugu states cried foul on Telugu producers, Dil Raju, Allu Aravind and Uv Creations. He claimed that these people should be shot dead for leading cinema mafia.
These statements drew a stern backlash as the release dates of Telugu films were locked much prior to Sankranthi season. It is next to impossible to allot theaters for dubbed films when three straight releases are battling it out.
Geetha Arts camp and Dil Raju warned Prasanna for his derogatory comments and he is yet to respond to the same.
