Rajinikanth's 2.0 had a wide release in the Telugu states and the theatrical was sold for a solid amount of 70 crores. But this not going to be the case with his next film Peta.
Apparently, Ashok Vallbhaneni has bagged the Telugu theatrical rights for 14 crores. Poor buzz and heavy competition from Sankranthi releases like NTR biopic and Vinaya Vidheya Rama are said to be the reasons behind this price for the Rajinikanth starrer.
