Thanks to the blockbuster success of Rangasthalam, Sukumar entered the top league of directors in Tollywood. Also, he managed to convince Mahesh Babu to star in his next movie.
The latest we hear is that Sukumar has prepared a 1950 backdrop storyline for Mahesh and the characterization will have shades of a prominent figure in Telangana.
Apparently, he is taking inspiration from Rangasthalam and trying to replicate a similar feat this time with Mahesh.
Sukumar previously rolled out a dud in the form of 1 - Nenokkadine with Mahesh in the lead role. So, the fans expected Sukumar to play the safe game this time but that is not the case now.
