Very Happy to share some exciting news.
As I was already living in Hong Kong, in 2012 an idea sparked into my mind that “Why can’t I make a Chinese film!?” and it made me think and got many questions into my mind. “ Will people watch If I make a Chinese film?” “What difference I should make a Chinese from The best filmmakers already exist here!?”. All these questions made me think in so many ways. As I was not much confident so I started to research and gathering information meeting so many people from last few years. I have been observing the market of Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Taiwan. People here are more interested in films showcasing the human values and sensibilities. Then, I decided that I should make a Chinese film in an Indian style with beautiful songs and dance sequence which showcases a romantic love story between a Chinese girl and an Indian boy.
As I am married to a Chinese woman and as I teach Indian dance to Chinese students, I have been observing the Chinese style of living. With proper information, experience and based on some real incidents I thought of prepare a romantic love story between a Chinese girl and an Indian boy. Thus, I prepared a solid love story, baked with emotions and peppy feelings. This project will not only create a huge amount of satisfaction towards creativity for me but also be a fruitful experience to Chinese and Indian cinema through the mixture of two cultures in the best possible way.

స‌శేషం, భూ, దేవిశ్రీ ప్ర‌సాద్ లాంటి విల‌క్ష‌ణ‌మైన సినిమాల‌ను తెర‌కెక్కించిన విల‌క్ష‌ణ ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు శ్రీకిషోర్ ఇప్పుడు మై ఇండియ‌న్ బాయ్ఫ్రెండ్ అనే చైనీస్ చిత్రాన్ని తెర‌కెక్కించ‌బోతున్నారు. చైనాలోని ఓ ఇండియ‌న్ అబ్బాయి.. చైనీస్ అమ్మాయికి మ‌ధ్య జ‌రిగే బ్యూటీఫుల్ అండ్ ఎమోష‌న‌ల్ రొమాంటిక్ ల‌వ్ ఎంట‌ర్‌టైన‌ర్‌గా రూపొంద‌బోయే ఈ చిత్రం గురించి ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు శ్రీకిశోర్ మాట్లాడుతూ...``నేను 2012 నుండి హాంగ్ కాంగ్‌లో ఉంటున్నాను. ఓ చైనీస్ అమ్మాయిని ప్రేమించి పెళ్లిచేసుకున్నాను. ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం చేయ‌డంతో పాటు అక్క‌డి పిల్ల‌ల‌కు డాన్స్ కూడా నేర్పిస్తుంటాను. ఇప్ప‌టి వ‌ర‌కు తెలుగులో సినిమాలు చేసిన నేను ఓ చైనీస్ సినిమా చేస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుంది? అని ఆలోచించాను. ఎంద‌రో మ‌హామ‌హులున్న చైనా సినిమా రంగంలో .. నా సినిమాలనెవ‌రైనా చూస్తారా? నేను ఎలాంటి వైవిధ్య‌మైన చైనా మూవీని తెర‌కెక్కించ‌గ‌ల‌ను? వ‌ంటి చాలా ప్ర‌శ్న‌లు నా బుర్ర‌లో ఉండేవి. అందుక‌ని చాలా రీసెర్చ్ చేశాను. చాలా మంది వ్య‌క్తుల‌ను క‌లిశాను. హాంగ్ కాంగ్‌, మెయిన్‌లాండ్‌, చైనా, తైవాన్ త‌దిత‌ర ప్రాంతాల్లో సినిమా మార్కెట్ ఎలా ఉంది? అనే విష‌యాల‌ను ఆరా తీశాను. ఇక్క‌డి ప్రేక్ష‌కులు హ్యుమన్ వేల్యూస్‌, సెన్సిబిలిటీస్‌కి ఎక్కువ ప్రాధాన్య‌త ఇస్తార‌ని తెలిసింది. అందుక‌ని ఆ అంశాల మేళ‌వింపుతో ఇండియ‌న్ స్టైల్ ఆఫ్ చైనీస్ మూవీ చేయాల‌నుకున్నాను. ఇందులో మ‌న సినిమాల్లోలాగా అంద‌మైన పాట‌లు, డాన్సులు ఉంటాయి.
నేను ఇక్క‌డే ఉండ‌టం వ‌ల్లే చైనీయ‌లు బాగానే అబ్జ‌ర్వ్ చేశాను. .అందువ‌ల్ల కావాల్సినంత స‌మాచారాన్ని సేక‌రించ గ‌లిగాను. కొన్ని నిజ ఘ‌ట‌న‌ల‌ను ఆధారంగా చేసుకుని చైనీస్ అమ్మాయి.. ఇండియ‌న్ అబ్బాయి మ‌ధ్య ప్రేమ పుడితే ఎలా ఉంటుంది? అనే దానిపై మై ఇండియ‌న్ బాయ్ఫ్రెండ్ అనే రొమాంటిక్ ల‌వ్‌స్టోరీని రాశాను. ఇది రెండు దేశాల సంస్కృతుల‌ను తెలియ‌జేసేదిగాఉంటుంది`` అన్నారు.
