The court also sentenced the broker of the paper leakage scam, Sajad Ahmad Bhat, to five years in jail and a fine of Rs 50 lakh.
Forty-three people have also been awarded different sentences including the beneficiary students who had 'bought' the entrance papers and made it to various professional colleges. The beneficiary students have been sentenced to one year in jail.
