New Delhi, March 31 (IANS) It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the weather office said.

"The sky will be clear throughout the day," an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) told IANS.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 53 per cent.

Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius, four degrees above the season's normal, while the minimum temperature settled at 20 degrees Celsius.
