Madurai, Feb 22 (IANS) Makkal Needhi Maiam's (MNM) President Kamal Haasan on Thursday said his party's policies were all those that the rulers did not implement for people's welfare.

Speaking to reporters here, Kamal said his focus will be on villages which are the very basis of nationalism.

Kamal said he started his political journey saying Dravidian philosophy is nationwide.

On Wednesday, Kamal launched his MNM party.
