Mumbai, Nov 27 (IANS) Industrial conglomerate Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Monday said that its construction arm has bagged orders worth Rs 3,572 crore.
On a project-wise basis, the industrial conglomerate bagged an order worth Rs 1,358 crore from Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) for construction of a new "South Parallel runway, apron and associated works" at the Kempegowda International Airport.
"The project scope consists construction of North Remote Stands, East Remote Stands, South Parallel Runway, Cross Field Taxiway and T2 Apron that are to be completed in phases," the company said in a statement.
According to the industrial conglomerate, the company's metallurgical and material handling business bagged orders worth Rs 1,264 crore, while the power transmission and distribution business won projects worth Rs 595 crore in the international market.
In addition, the "Buildings and Factories Business" has bagged orders worth Rs 355 crore.
