Gwalior, Nov 15 (IANS) A Central drought inspection team visited some villages in Gwalior on Wednesday to take stock of the drought situation there.
Farmers informed the officials that due to scarcity of water, they had suffered crop loss. The team also met District Magistrate Rahul Jain and other officials.
The farmers have suffered crop damage due to less rainfall. There is also scarcity of drinking water, Jain told the team.
Farmers in a village also complained of hand pumps going dry.
