Vatican City, Sep 15 (IANS/AKI) God leaves no one an orphan and just as Mary is the mother of Jesus, she is everyone's mother, Pope Francis told Catholics on Friday.
"The Lord does not leave us orphans: we have a Mother, the same one as Jesus," Francis tweeted.
"Mary takes care of us and always defends us."
Francis has nearly 34 million followers of his nine-language @pontifex account on Twitter, the highest number of any world leader, showed data issued by the Twiplomacy group, which tracks the social media use of world leaders.
