On August 10, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) had ordered a complete ban on use of plastic carry bags of less than 50 microns in Delhi.

The information was revealed in a meeting convened by Environment Minister Imran Hussain with senior officers from Environment Department and Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) on Tuesday.
