New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS) NCP leader Praful Patel on Monday denied reports that the party is joining the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
Patel in a tweet said: "There is no basis for speculation that NCP is joining the government in Delhi."
Patel's comment came after media reports that NCP chief Sharad Pawar is likely to join the Modi cabinet. The NCP has also broken away from the joint opposition, and its party MLAs in Gujarat voted for the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections.
