A dialogue between works of three artists

New Delhi, Aug 23 (IANS) Three artists who shared space during their grooming at Triveni Kala Sangam have brought across their styles in an exhibition here.

"Tranquil Trialogues" with works by artists Nivedita Pandey, Late Nira Dabar and Renuka, is on at Convention Center at India Habitat Center till August 24.

One can experience a silent conversation among them through their works.

In all the works, there is great emotional content as well as thoughts which each one has presented in a different manner.

"The show is an attempt to showcase the works emerging from the same place through three different artists in three different ways of expression," Artist Nivedita Pandey said.

The paintings are a glimpse of the work the trio has done across the years.

Pandey feels art and architecture are part and parcel of her life.

"I am incomplete without either of the two. Architecture happened because of my interest in art. Both give the joy of creation but with paintings I connect with my innermost self," she said.

Her paintings range from purely colourful simple compositions. "They are to be enjoyed for the basic composition and colourful rendering of objects to the depiction of intriguing happenings in the society," she said.
