Mob attacks school alleging gangrape of minorLucknow, Aug 9 (IANS) A mob attacked a private school in Meerut and vandalised property on Wednesday alleging that a seven-year-old girl student had been gang-raped by some students.

Police rushed to the school in Phoolbagh area of Nauchandi and tried to pacify the unruly mob which wanted the school principal to be arrested.

A medical examination was conducted on the girl and prima facie rape has not been confirmed, Maan Singh Chauhan, superintendent of police (SP) told IANS on phone, adding that the probe was on.
