Sumeeth Reddy and the mixed doubles combine of Pranaav Jerry Chopra and N. Sikki Reddy lost in the quarter-finals of the $65,000 Canada Open Grand Prix badminton championships here.

The third seeded pairing of Manu and Sumeeth on Friday lost 12-21, 15-21 to unseeded South Koreans Kim Won Ho and Seung Jae Seo in 29 minutes at the Canada Olympic Park.

Mixed doubles second seeds Pranaav and Sikki fought hard before losing to South Koreans Kim Won Ho and Shin Seung Chan 17-21, 20-22, 18-21 in and hour and two minutes.
