Dubai, July 5 (IANS/WAM) Dubai has launched a new programme to help Egypt boost its female education.
The three-year programme reflects the need for inclusivity and empowerment, an enhanced school environment, development of teaching methods as well as revision of school curricula by providing quality education for the youngsters.
In addition, it also aims to improve the standard of education for 15,000 students and to ensure they have a safe and engaging environment to learn.
The initiative will also adopt a multi-faceted approach to achieve its objectives by cultivating the leadership skills of girls through extracurricular activities and sports.
"Our objective... is to allow female students in Egypt to recognise and realise their full potential, opening their eyes to what education makes possible," said Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of charity Dubai Cares.
Dubai Cares is part of the initiative which aims to encourage school stakeholders to recognise the importance of empowering female students, improve learning facilities, and raise the overall calibre of education.
