New Delhi, July 2 (IANS) It was a cloudy Sunday morning in the national capital with rain in several areas. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal, the weather office said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 per cent and the city received 20.4 mm of rain since Saturday.
"Generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur," an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius, five degrees below the normal.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature settled at 35.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius, both were two degrees below the average.
