The accident took place on National Highway No. 74 in Sherkot area when a Bolero off-road vehicle carrying passengers from a wedding ceremony crashed into a Canter truck.
The Bolero was headed for Laxar. Five of the dead persons were in the Bolero and belonged to the marriage party. The driver of the Canter was also killed.
The bodies were sent for autopsy. The injured were admitted to a medical facility. All are said to be critical, the police said.
