Islamabad, June 7 (IANS) Pakistan on Wednesday strongly condemned the terror attacks in Iran in which 12 persons were killed.
Iranian official media reported that two attacks, claimed by the Islamic State, took place at the Parliament House and Imam Khomeini's mausoleum in Tehran.
"The government of Pakistan has strongly condemned today's terrorist attacks on Iranian Parliament and mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in which, reportedly, precious lives of innocent people were lost," Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"We stand in solidarity with the people of Iran in their hour of grief," the statement, cited by Xinhua, said.
