Mumbai, June 7 (IANS) Actor Amit Sadh met former hockey star Sandeep Singh and says the latter is a star in the real sense.
Amit tweeted on Wednesday a photograph of himself along with Singh.
"Indian jersey hockey champ and former India captain Sandeep Singh at the hockey training camp. Truly a star in the real sense. Go for gold," he captioned the image.
Singh is also an ex-captain of the Indian national team. He generally features as a full back and is a penalty corner specialist for the team. He holds a DySP rank in Haryana Police.
On the silver screen, Amit was last seen in filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's political thriller "Sarkar 3", where he essayed the role of Shivaji Nagre.
The film also featured megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Yami Gautam and Ronit Roy.
