New Delhi, June 1 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy morning here on Thursday with minimum temperature recorded at 24.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, the Met office said.
The maximum temperature for the day was likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
"Chances of rain are slim today but there will be thunder and lightening in some parts towards the evening," an Indian Meteorological department official said.
There was 11.8 mm rain on Wednesday. The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. on Thursday was 65 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 34.7 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below the average.
